"Yeah, this one is for my bitches with a fat ass in the fucking club," announces her Minajesty in twerk anthem "Anaconda". It's inspired a meme. It's stirred up controversy. And tonight, everyone in the UK with a "booty like two planets" is invited to participate in – and this is completely real – the UK Twerking Championships, with a £1000 cash prize fronted by Island Records. 

The five-round romp will take place as follows: "each round will be scored by three industry twerking specialist judges. Judges will each give performance a score out of 10; 30 total per round."

Inspired by the club banger, organisers of the event at London's The Scala, Jump Off TV, have added a "Nicki Minaj Anaconda Round", wherein the top six twerkers will face off – rump to rump – until one walks away with £1000 and the glory of owning the UK's best jiggling backside. Runners up will take home £150 and £50, respectively. 

Here's the clincher: no nudity or butt cheeks may be showing, so if you've got the goodies but don't got the game, don't bother.
