With his new album Ghettoville in the bag, Actress aka Darren Cunningham made his first ever trip to South Africa at the end of July to feature in the first of a series of musical crossovers between SA and the UK, curated by Live Magazine SA with the British Council’s Connect ZA programme.

Hitting Johannesburg and Cape Town across one weekend to share the stage with SA acts including the BLK JKS, the mini-tour featured two gigs in two days, and some time to explore the scenery, meat and baboons of the Cape.
