Dazed Editor-in-Chief IB Kamara and the rest of the editorial team have curated the list of up-and-coming talent across fashion, beauty, art, photography, music, entertainment, activism, and so much more. The Dazed 100 has always been about championing creativity and innovation, featuring the most inspiring change-makers from across the globe. This year, the list spotlights talent from the UK, the US, South Korea, Ghana, Canada, France, Brazil, India, Italy, Palestine, Uganda, Ukraine, Sweden, Nigeria, and more. Musicians featured in the 2023 Dazed 100 include Ethel Cain, the singer-songwriter and Gen Z darling behind tracks such as ‘American Teenager’ and ‘Crush’, ODUMODUBLVCK, the Nigerian rapper known for his dynamic performances and eclectic blending of hip-hop, drill and grime, and rapper Ceechynaa, who featured on the cover of Dazed’s 2023 winter issue. In the fashion category, there’s Aaron Esh, the Central Saint Martins graduate and emerging menswear designer, Alex Consani, the model and social media sensation, and Rian Phin, a fashion theorist with a legion of devoted online followers. The list also features Molly Manning Walker, the award-winning director and cinematographer behind How To Have Sex, plus the film’s lead, Mia McKenna-Bruce. Cailee Spaeny, star of Sofia Coppola’s biopic Priscilla, is also on the list, as is Ayo Edebiri, who has starred in Emma Seligman film Bottoms and Hulu show The Bear. “Over the years, the Dazed 100 has championed the movers, shakers and trailblazers in the creative industry and this year’s list is no different,” says Ib Kamara, Editor-in-Chief of Dazed. “I’m constantly reminded of all the global talent that we’re so lucky to both watch from afar and collaborate with across our platforms.” Previous Dazed 100 names have gone on to win Grammys, lead influential fashion brands, receive Oscar nominations and even make history. Dazed 100 alumni includes Jacquemus (2015), Kendall Jenner (2015), Troye Sivan (2016), Hunter Schafer (2017), and Rosalía (2019).
