Timothée Chalamet, previously known as the Bagel King, now has a new title: the Chip Prince. The 23-year-old has shared behind-the-scenes pictures of the Little Women cast on his Instagram, including a picture of himself, director Greta Gerwig, Florence Pugh, and Meryl Streep, all in civil war-era clothing, sharing a bag of Wendy’s fries. Iconic.
Whether he’s sharing photos of him and his mum, or posting Matthew Mcconaughey on the beach, and describing him as his ‘spirit animal’, Chalamet’s Instagram is a wild ride, and this latest Wendy’s snap takes it to the next level.
With just under two weeks to go until the release of the much-anticipated Greta Gerwig adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s novel, Little Women, the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, calling the film “timeless” and “full of soul”. It’s even received the green light from Gillian Armstrong, the director of the 1994 film adaption, who described the film as having a “brave new structure” and a “fantastic cast”.
The star-studded trailer, which features Emma Watson, Laura Dern, and Saoirse Ronan, has also racked up over seven million views on YouTube.
