Film & TV / NewsFilm & TV / NewsSabrina goes a bit goth in the trailer for the second seasonNew looksShareLink copied ✔️December 4, 2018December 4, 2018TextSylvie Markes A teaser for the new series of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has dropped and it’s everything we needed it to be. “Get ready, mortals. Our girl’s gone full witch. Join Sabrina as she navigates the Path of Night while holding on tight to her friends who walk the Path of Light,” the brief Netflix clip says. While the teaser doesn’t let much slip about upcoming storylines, Sabrina is obviously testing a new look as she tries on different outfits (super goth) and a peroxide blonde hairstyle. “Edgy,” Aunt Zelda observes wryly. The tone becomes increasingly sinister as Sabrina is shown at a party that descends into cultish, ritualistic dance. The battle against good and evil continues, as the teaser ends with Sabrina encountering the next terrifying monster. In contrast to the original 90s sitcom and in line with the comic book series, CAOS is a darker and more twisted coming-of-age tale. Season two again chronicles the life of Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) as she treads the line between her mortal and magic friends. A few new faces are joining the cast, including Alexis Denisof, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, as well as Jedidiah Goodacre from The Originals. Goodacre will play Dorian Gray, a character inspired by Oscar Wilde’s classic. Even for those who weren’t glued to their screens binge-watching the first season, CAOS has been rattling the world – as above, so below. Netflix was sued by the Satanic Temple church for misappropriating the use of one of their symbols to illustrate evil, a monument of the goat deity Baphomet. The new series will premiere on April 5 2019, but lucky for us, there is a Christmas special premiering on December 14. Escape the algorithm!
