Now, Luca Guadagnino’s intense summer romance movie’s OST is getting a special edition ‘peach season’ vinyl. Just 7,777 copies of the peach-coloured and scented double vinyl will be released in August 2018 – ‘peach harvest season’ apparently. As super fans will know, this harks back to the now-infamous peach scene in the movie, where Elio (played by Timothée Chalamet) masturbates with a peach. Upon discovering it, Oliver (Armie Hammer) eats it. Call Me By Your Name’s soundtrack addition “Mystery of Love”, by Sufjan Stevens, was nominated for a ‘best original song’ Oscar. Troye Sivan performed it as a stunning spoken word piece for our Dazed Texts series.
