Danish avant garde designer Henrik Vibskov and sleek pram company Quinny pairing up to come up with a line of 15 items that all gives Vibskov the chance to put his crazy printed spin on Quinny classics such as the Buzz pushchair, Dreami Pram Body and the Zapp buggy. A toy string hangs with dangling drumsticks and maracas and bells. In addition to these baby-specific products is also a printed rain poncho that will be of interest to fans of Vibskov's signature prints, with or without a baby. Vibskov envisioned a remote forest, far away from civilisation where colourful misfits congregrate, who then start playing music that becomes popular. From this backstory, three prints were derived; Mad, Rainbow and Raindrop print which is then contrasted with leather accents and base colours of ecru and black and worked in various ways on the different Quinny products. In some ways, the collaboration makes sense as Vibskov has always taken a wide-eyed approach to his collections, often taking inspiration from the imaginations of a child.Quinny by Henrik Vibskov will be launching at The Vinyl Factory, Basement Studio, 51 Poland Street on September 3rd from 19.00-22.00pm.Henrik Vibskov has also recently opened a new flagship store in Oslo, Norway.
