Wunderkind Womenswear S/S11

Playing with flashes of reds, oranges and violets, the German designer brings together soft and floaty chiffon dresses with structured layering and ruffles of cherry print motifs. Matching ruffled jackets with knee-length gowns, the collection seemed almost prim yet simultaneously childlike with full-flared skater skirts and empire line waists. Joop's playful models in stripy tights and lace-up floral boots paraded on with pigtails and red lips to match the burst of colours on netted tulle whilst the men wire loosely buttoned blazers and open-necked shirts.
