With artists like White Denim and School of Seven Bells on their roster, FullTime Hobby were a perfect fit for Firetrap who have a history of supporting young talent and creativity with link-ups with cult designers like Ziad Ghanem and talked-about music festivals like Stag and Dagger and Bestival. Photographers, illustrators, typographers and artists submitted over 900 inspired, original and sometimes explicit designs in response.To celebrate the wealth of work, Firetrap and Dazed Digital have cherry picked four runners-up who, along with the winner, will each have their masterpiece made into a T-shirt and they can now be bought in all eight Firetrap stores and their online shop. So congratulations to the winner Christopher Nieri and runners up Muris Halilovic, Alejandro Castro Perez, Nicolás Cuestas and Ger Heffernan. Dazed spoke to Full Time Hobby signing The Leisure Society as they prepare to find out whether they're the lucky winners of the prestigious Ivor Novello award later on tonight. Nick Hemming is sporting a Nicolás Cuestas T-shirt while Christian Hardy wears one by Christopher Nieri.Dazed Digital: Nick, what was it like being nominated for the Ivor Novello award?Nick Hemming: Amazing. It was a real suprise. I wasn’t expecting to get to do it all again. I wouldn’t have thought to even enter that song this year. My publisher submitted it literally the day before. For that I'm very grateful. DD: How would you describe your music?Christian Hardy: I can never answer this question. Erm, maybe ‘Ivor Novello nominated.’DD: Were you classically trained as musicians?Nick Hemming: No. Definitely not. I had piano lessons when I was seven, but it only lasted a few months.Christian Hardy: The rest of the band are. It’s only me and Nick who aren’t.DD: What are you looking forward to most this year? Playing Glasto?Christian Hardy: Finishing the album!Nick Hemming: Yes, other than festivals we’re obsessed with the album. It’s all we’re doing.DD: Have you been to Glasto before?Nick Hemming: Only as an audience member.Christian Hardy: No, never. I always said I would only go if I was playing.
