This summer, all eyes are on Lamine Yamal – and for good reason. With the World Cup steadily underway, the 18-year-old footballer has been a major part of Spain’s quest to win the tournament, gaining notoriety thanks to his world-class talent and prodigy status. Off the pitch, the right-winger has kept busy as well. Last Tuesday, July 23, he fronted a new collaboration between SP5DER and adidas Originals, the latest of this summer’s many World Cup fashion collabs.

In the new campaign, a half-dressed Yamal trades in football boots for the adidas x SP5DER F50 Formotion, a fresh sneaker silhouette that combines adidas’ Formotion technology, originally created for running, with a silhouette inspired by one of the brand’s most iconic cleats, the Adizero F50 III. The sneaker is actually the second footwear team-up between adidas and Young Thug’s lifestyle brand, the first being the SP5DER Supermodified Superstars launched earlier this year.

SP5DER has become beloved by hypebeasts worldwide thanks to its matching sets, so it’s no surprise that this latest release, alongside the silvery sneakers, features two: a matching football jersey and shorts, and a rhinestoned tracksuit. Accessories-wise, rounding out the collection is a blinged-out cap with Three Stripes down the center, and for the true footballers (or anyone just looking to lean in and cosplay), a pair of custom SP5DER goalkeeper gloves.

Launching globally today, July 1, the new collection is available to shop via KINGSPIDER.CO, the adidas CONFIRMED app, and in select retailers and select adidas stores.
