With the World Cup officially kicking off last night, it’s fair to say that football fever is gripping the globe – and one area where that energy has clearly taken hold is the fashion world, with brands falling over themselves to get a slice of the footy pie. In light of that, streetwear aficionado Palace has teamed up with Nike and the England for a capsule collection dropping today, with designs inspired by the legend of St George.

“It’s always been a dream of ours to work officially with England. Growing up in London it’s always a massive moment when tournament football starts and everyone comes together, rooting for the same team,” said Palace co-founder Lev Tanju. “We’ve made a few different things in the past as an ode to the England team, so now to officially partner is a dream come true.” The collection is part of a Nike series called x2, which sees seven different international federations collaborate with a brand on a new capsule (France teamed up with Jacquemus, for example).

To celebrate the launch of Nike’s England x Palace capsule, Dazed has teamed up with the Manor Place Creative Residents for an exclusive shoot featuring all the pieces from the collection. Located in south London’s Elephant & Castle, Manor Place is Palace and Nike joint Community Hub, and its residents came together to showcase the jerseys, tracksuits, varsity jackets and more, which you can check out in the gallery above.
