Now, she’s adding espionage to her CV (sort of), stepping into the role of Agent Fox for lingerie brand Agent Provocateur’s AW25 campaign. Though she’s currently promoting her latest film, the Jordan Peele-produced psychological thriller HIM, she’s also making a case for Agent Fox to be the next Bond girl. Photographed by Greg Williams at the Manner Hotel in New York, the new campaign also reconnects Fox with her dominatrix past. Aged 18, she emailed a Manhattan dungeon that was advertising for a dominatrix on Craigslist: “I pull what I think is a good photo off my Facebook page and begin tapping away at the keyboard,” she recounts in her memoir, Down the Drain. “I don’t have experience as a dominatrix but I certainly have some experience in hating men.” Courtesy of Agent Provocateur The actress is no stranger to lingerie (see Uncut Gems) or barely-there fashion moments (she wore hair and not much else to the Oscars after-party), but becoming an AP girl has always been a goal of hers. “The brand has a legacy of celebrating and empowering women and their bodies, and when I shot this collection, I felt it immediately; on set I felt strong, sexy and totally in control,” Fox explains. “I also really had some fun with it.” Elsewhere this week, fashion month is still in full swing, now entering its final weekend in Paris, with several designer debuts still to come. Already this week, we’ve seen the first collections from Jonathan Anderson at Dior, Miguel Castro Freitas at Mugler, and now Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez at Loewe.
