The campaign, ‘For Fact’s Sake: Think Responsibly’, includes a limited edition capsule collection made from 100 per cent recycled cotton. A portion of the sales will directly support Wikipedia, ensuring it remains independent, open, and accessible to all. For Fact’s Sake: Think ResponsiblyCourtesy of Armedangels x Wikipedia In a time filled with heightened misinformation – from word bans to the end of fact-checking programmes in the US, to climate disinformation spreading worldwide – the Armedangels and Wikipedia collection stands for ‘knowledge and circularity’. “Information freedom is the foundation of informed decision-making, even in the fashion industry,” says Martin Höfeler, founder and CEO of Armedangels. “But this applies far beyond the textile sector: unrestricted access to information enables people worldwide to expose injustices, drive innovation and actively shape their future.” For Fact’s Sake: Think ResponsiblyCourtesy of Armedangels x Wikipedia The collection incorporates Wikipedia’s classic symbols into t-shirts, hoodies and caps. As the world’s largest free online encyclopedia, for nearly 25 years Wikipedia has served as what Zack McCune, Director of Brand at the Wikimedia Foundation, considers the “backbone” of knowledge on the internet. “As we approach Wikipedia's 25th birthday in January 2026, we are focused on reinforcing public awareness of its vital role in society as an information resource everyone can trust,” he says. The Armedangels x Wikipedia collection is available now on the Armedangels website.
