Wallflowers beware: Willy Chavarria has just dropped a brand new capsule collection, and he’s doing it with a gay porn studio in tow. The US designer hit up X-rated video pioneers Latino Fan Club for the freshly released collab, and the link up makes a lot of sense. Founded in New York in 1985, Latino Fan Club catered to an audience largely ignored by the white and mainstream studios of the time, its output centred on a cultural identity shared by Chavarria and his team today.

As expected, the limited edition capsule includes some decidedly NSFW items, so if you end up ordering a few, be sure to open the package away from prying eyes. A tongue-in-cheek 2025 calendar that promises “man meat muscle studs” sends up the sleazy iconography of the 90s and 00s (and even comes with a cock ring).

Shot by photographer Marco Ovando, the Dirty Will Zine is a homage to the plastic-wrapped top shelf mags of yesteryear, with its steamy images remastered by art director Jess Cuevas. And for all those thinking ‘I thought this was a fashion house’, do not fret – there are also some clothes too. Graphic-heavy t-shirts, hoodies and baseball caps make up the majority of the apparel offering, which luckily includes a tee with ‘Big Willy Boys’ emblazoned on the back. That’ll all be available at Dover Street Market in both New York and LA, where the Chavarria team have pop-ups designed to look like 90s-era X-rated video stores, complete with duct-taped glory holes and rows of VHS.

Elsewhere, Willy has, of course, never been one to shy away from sleaze. Last year, the designer dropped his Dirty Willy Underwear line, a collection of seemingly used briefs and jockstraps that had been splattered with artisanal piss, and will also be available alongside the new capsule at DSM. Before then, Chavarria held his SS18 show Cruising in New York City leather bar The Eagle, populated his SS22 Uncut show with topless street cast models, and his collections often explore the intersection between identity, masculinity and sex. When you think about it, we’re surprised Willy didn’t hook up with a gay porn studio even faster.
