Though that movie isn’t even out yet, Timmy is already onto the next. This week, the actor was spotted back in the Big Apple, this time shooting Marty Supreme, Josh Safdie’s upcoming A24 film about ping-pong star Marty Reisman. Gone were the ratty scarves and baker boy caps of Bob, and in their place a slouchy 50s power suit with ample lapel room, plus some round specs and a bit of a struggle stash. Elsewhere, Timmy went full nerdcore in a sweater vest and slacks, and was also fully fitted out in a long navy topcoat and crimson leather gloves. As Marty, it seems the actor is bringing a decidedly different vibe to the function, and though we’re not used to a slicked-back and suited Timmy, he’s clearly pulling it off. Hats off to you, Tim! In other fashion news, it was a big week for the industry’s game of creative director musical chairs, as Hedi Slimane left Celine, and Michael Rider was announced as his replacement mere hours later. Though he’s a stalwart of the industry, Rider isn’t that well known to the wider public, so we compiled this handy guide on everything you need to know about Celine’s new creative director. Elsewhere, Willem Dafoe returned to the Pradaverse with a surprise appearance at Miu Miu’s latest show; Demna dared to release the stockings and suspenders at Balenciaga SS25; Paris Fashion Week finally came to an end, so we rounded up all the best bits of the SS25 season; Jawara Alleyne released Sun as an Anchor, a new limited edition book with photographer JJ Lorenzo; we caught up with A$AP Rocky as he launches his new Puma collection; and MM6 Maison Margiela was announced as the guest designer for Pitti Uomo’s next edition.
