Martine Rose x Supreme is officially on its wayThe buzzy London and New York labels are collaborating for the very first timeShareLink copied ✔️September 9, 2024September 9, 2024TextElliot HosteSupreme x Martine Rose Fall 2024 In a move that is sure to send hypebeasts across the globe into a frenzy, the British menswear designer Martine Rose has just been announced as Supreme’s latest collaborator. The news dropped this morning via Instagram, when the New York skate brand posted a series of images shot by Roxy Lee and Heji Shin. The campaign features a bunch of familiar faces including skateboarders Caleb Barnett, Sean Pablo and Sage Elsesser, plus Sage’s supermodel sister Paloma Elsesser. As for the clothes, it looks like Rose has reinterpreted a number of classics from her eponymous label and given them the Supreme touch. The iconic ‘Martine Rose’ signature logo has been reimagined with ‘Supreme’ in its place, plastered across the front of t-shirts and the backs of hoodies. Martine Rose beer mats reappear as well, stitched onto the back of jackets and hoodies, while the brand’s printed denim has also been given a Supreme twist. Elsewhere, the footwear is somewhat of a three-handed collab, as Rose references her guest designer role at Clarks for a Supreme x Martine Rose x Clarks Originals version of the Desert Trek boot. Accompanying the drop is also a 44-page black and white photo zine, with all proceeds going to St Giles Trust, the UK-based charity helping people affected by homelessness, substance abuse and violence. And though this Fall 2024 collection is Rose’s first with Supreme, the London-born designer is also no stranger to collaboration. Over the years her label has collaborated with a select number of brands, including Tommy Jeans, Stüssy, Nike and even Stella Artois. Those collabs, coupled with her ongoing role at Clarks, prove the designer is aware of the power of a well-executed link up, ones that makes sense for the bases of both brands. In a similar but less discriminating way, Supreme is also known for its various link ups, having recently dropped collaborative pieces with Nike, Vans, Dr Martens, Ducati, Margiela and The Muppets in 2024 alone. Supreme x Martine Rose is available here from September 12. Escape the algorithm! Get The DropEmail address SIGN UP Get must-see stories direct to your inbox every weekday. Privacy policy Thank you.
