Jacquemus is a daddy in every sense of the word

The French designer and his husband have just announced the birth of their first two children

Just when you thought last week’s newly launched bridal collection was the most pressing issue on his mind, Simon Porte Jacquemus has just blown that out the water with one huge announcement: the birth of his twin children.

In an Instagram post this afternoon, Jacquemus and husband Marco Maestri welcomed Mia and Sun into the world, who were both born on 20 April according to their hospital bracelets. “Welcome to earth, our love,” the pair wrote beside a photo of the babies’ hands. “We love you so much. Our dream has come true with you, Papa Marco and Papa Simon.”

Jacquemus and Maestri tied the knot back in 2022 at a stylish ceremony in Charleval, south of France. On the guest list were friends, family and none other than close confidante Dua Lipa, so maybe Miss Peep is first in line for godmother to one of the twins? Either way, Mia and Sun are heirs to a chic fashion legacy and have a couple of stylish daddies to raise them – an enviable life even for a pair of two-day olds.
