Just take earlier this year, as the Renaissance tour descended upon Tottenham for a five-night residency, and FLANNELS transformed its London flagship into a fully-fledged, chrome-covered homage to the star, as an example. The move saw Oxford Street taken over by massive queues come rain or shine, as the store provided exclusive merch for those who weren’t able to catch Ms Knowles-Carter IRL. Now, in celebration of RENAISSANCE: A Film By Beyoncé – which premieres in London tonight (November 30) – FLANNELS is bringing back its immersive Renaissance flagship pop-up for a second season, beginning on December 1. For those who might be experiencing withdrawals since the tour wrapped last month, there’s good news. This time around, the Renaissance shopping experience can be found at FLANNELS’ London, Liverpool, Sheffield, and Belfast stores – each showcasing the concert film’s 16-piece merch collection, including t-shirts, tracksuits, accessories, and fold-up fans stamped with Beyoncé lyrics and graphics and there is even a chance to snap pics with Beyoncé’s iconic sparkling, silver horse Reneigh from the album cover. Elsewhere, besides highlighting Bey’s looks and celebrating the festive season with its “We are the party” theme, the pop-up will also pay homage to the incredible fan fashion seen at the tour. From glittering cowgirl looks to alien superstars, fans are encouraged to come in their best Renaissance-themed outfits, plus visitors can shop through a specially-curated collection of designer RTW, accessory, and beauty edits, all inspired by the tour’s best fashion moments. “The fashion and beauty trends from the Renaissance tour are iconic,” FLANNELS’ CMO Beckie Stanion explained in a statement. “We can’t wait to welcome all the fans into our stores to get the look!” The RENAISSANCE Flagship opens in London, Liverpool and Sheffield stores on December 1 and opens in Belfast on December 14 – find out more here.
