KNWLS latest collection, shown at the SS24 edition of London Fashion Week, went out to the petrolheads of the world, with gnarly moto leather, busted denim, and trashed, sinewy slips that looked like they’d been sucked under the wheels of a bike all on the agenda for the new season. With the label invited rising fashion star Mia Khalifa to stalk the runway on the night, the show ended up being one of the most buzzy, standout moments from the season – but then, designers Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault should be pretty used to that by now.

Now, fans who didn’t get to be at the show in person – and actually also those lucky enough to snag a seat – can relive the chaos in a supercharged new film which takes viewers behind the scenes in the hours leading up to the moment the first model stepped out onto the catwalk. Filmed by Dazed’s Chester McKee and edited by Alice Wade, the grainy, lo-fi short captures the frenetic last minute adjustments, the fabulous guests filtering in and finding their spot, and the countless indispensable people who bring each fashion show to life running around the space and making sure things go to plan.
