KNWLS feels the need for speed in this supercharged new film

Gucci caused a commotion this week when it dropped its newest campaign, this time enlisting Paul Mescal [and his new, internet-breaking beard] to slip his toned pins into its iconic Horsebit loafer. The classic style celebrates its 70th birthday this year.

Maximilian Davis is fully bedded in at Italian powerhouse Salvatore Ferragamo now, dropping a wildly brilliant SS24 collection that proved he’s really hit his stride in his new[ish] position. Now, a few weeks on from that, a new classic from the Mancunian designer just landed on Ferragamo shelves, in the form of a chic new leather bag dubbed the hug. In sleek black, slick navy, sunny yellow, and signature popping red, there’s a mini bag for fashion minimalists, and big boys for the everything-but-the-kitchen-sink customer.

The Maiers duo just dropped their latest campaign over at Jil Sander, and this season for AW23, they chose to do something a little bit different. Heading out of Italy and in the direction of Manchester, the images capture the moody sleet skies and industrial landscape of the city where acid house took seed in the UK. With that in mind, for an accompanying video, they put techno legend Jeff Mills in the hotseat to discuss his approach to creating music and how that intersects with fashion – plus how much he loves the kind of simple, stripped-back clothes Jil Sander turns out each season.

Kate Moss is the latest style icon to join forces with The Real Real for a big wardrobe purge. With the model known for eclectic taste, expect to find her little section of the app wall to wall with recognisable cult classics and vintage finds, including bashed denim, slinky slips, and a few decades worth of it-bags.

Inviting five artists – Billie Zangewa, Ewa Juszkiewicz, Liza lou, Tursic & Mille, and Ziping Wang – to have their way with the style, the bags move out of fashion territory to become bonafide objets d’art you can carry.
