It was reported that the musician-model-child-of-Madonna had turned up too late to be allowed inside the venue, but the internet began to speculate that it was actually a (gasp!) PR stunt because she wore a pair of jeans with both Heaven and Blumarine’s branding etched onto her ass. Was this part of an elaborate hoax to seed an upcoming collaboration? Who knows! The two labels have actually created a limited-edition capsule, though, which got its Instagram debut with a Petra Collins and Lotta Volkova-led campaign. The two horsemen of the Y2K apocalypse, Heaven is the ‘I am the misunderstood protagonist of a Sofia Coppola film’ to Blumarine’s ‘I’m just a flip phone babe with guest-list entry to Les Deux’. Together, they’ve birthed cropped denim jackets and tiered chiffon minis, shrunken hoodies and low-slung jeans. All baby pink camo prints and diamanté teddy bears, the collection will be available to shop online tomorrow. In the campaign itself, Colin Jones is joined by ascendant models Adit Deng and Kayla Dunlap, who strut in unison through sports halls and locker rooms, before slumping insouciantly on high-school tables.
