A Palace and Gucci collaboration is on its wayThe joint collection drops on October 21ShareLink copied ✔️October 17, 2022FashionNewsTextDazed Digital After months of teasing, Gucci and Palace are teaming up for a collaboration. Launching on October 21, the collab was announced on Instagram this morning with the hashtag #PalaceGucci and the caption: “THINGS ARE LOOKING UP.” Taking cues from Palace’s own back catalogue, the collection takes its inspiration from the street, the place in which “fashion comes alive”, according to the press release. Merging the aesthetics of both brands, the collection will fuse Gucci’s Double-G and Palace’s Tri-Ferg logos to create a unique and one-off motif and will include apparel and accessories for all genders, including women’s ready-to-wear designs – a first for Palace. “This didn’t come about by chance, but rather from the will of people who shared the same things, from heterogeneity, from the street, and there is really a bit of everything inside,” said Alessandro Michele. The collection will initially launch through Gucci Vault, the brand’s concept store, and will be available across various pop-up stores in Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Osaka, and Bangkok, as well as Palace stores in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.
