You can buy a copy of our latest issue here. Once an underground London skate crew with a small but loyal hypebeast following, Palace has recruited a gaggle of unexpected megastars to front its campaigns in recent months, from cult actor Willem Dafoe – star of April’s Calvin Klein collab – to the pop icon Elton John (yes, he’s still standing). Lest we come to think that Palace has betrayed the skaters and ravers at its heart, though, and lost itself in the hunt for the next big collab, the label has tapped homegrown talent Tigerlily Bakare – AKA the eccentric Instagram e-girl Vitamin B12 – for Dazed’s summer 2022 issue. Shot by Zach Apo-Tsang, Bakare showcases the skate label’s eclectic SS22 collection in a series of self-styled snaps, modelling playful animal-embroidered polo shirts, and patched-up bomber jackets paired with plaid skirts (school’s out for summer, apparently), alongside tie-dye two pieces, and a pink velour tracksuit with a diamante-studded Y2K rendition of the Palace logo.
