Think X Files icon Gillian Anderson for LOEWE, Frank Ocean fronting Prada, or, slightly less recently, Vicky Beckham emerging from a Marc Jacobs carrier bag and you’ve pretty much got the idea. In Farfetch’s latest campaign, though, you’re getting even more bang for your buck, as the global shopping platform we’ve all got bookmarked enlists not one, but two unlikely stars. Step forward Sex & The City icon, Ms. Samantha Jones herself, Kim Cattrall, who shimmies into a silky Prada coat, grabs a Prada bag, and gets acquainted with a dalmatian in one shot from the SS22 Your Choice, Your Farfetch series. Given she famously declared “I don’t want to be in a situation for even an hour where I'm not enjoying myself”, seemingly draping herself in the new season fashions isn’t too much of a stretch. But who’s the second surprise for SS22? It’s the one and only Josh Hartnett! Everyone’s fave late 90s/early 00s heartthrob – who rose to fame circa movies like Pearl Harbor, 40 Days and 40 Nights, and brilliant high school students vs. aliens B-movie The Faculty – faded into wilful obscurity across the course of the last decade. But thanks to Farfetch, here he is, grinning and reclining insouciantly in a chair wearing a fab little felt jacket by Amiri, signature curtain bangs included. Also joining Cattrall and Hartnett are musicians and uber-snappy dressers Steve Lacy and Maria Isabel. Check the whole campaign out in the gallery above, and head here to revisit that time Samantha Jones turned scat artist.
