What is heritage? The new issue of Dazed unpacks the stories that make up our shared cultural history; how they bind us together, and how they can be harnessed to forge new paths for the future. In a season marked by tremendous losses, it’s an issue created with an overarching sense of hope – hope for a future built on the foundations laid by innovators like Virgil Abloh and André Leon Talley. 

Photographed by Paolo Roversi for one of four spring covers, musician and spoken-word mystic Mustafa drifts to his Toronto youthhood to better understand his new life as a songwriter of extraordinary power. Our youngest-ever cover photographer, Tenzing, takes us deep into the Himalayan community he calls home.
