Dropping a new capsule line named I LOVE PETS (caps extremely necessary), the label is set to donate a percentage of proceeds to French animal protection charity La Société Protectrice des Animaux – or La SPA for short. With signature oversized tees and hoodies on the line-up, alongside accessories and jewellery, pieces are emblazoned with photos of Balenciaga employees’ rescued animals, as well as “I Love Cats”, “I Love Dogs”, and “Woof Woof”. Other styles feature a phone number that, when dialled, directs the caller to a Balenciaga hotline that offers info about adopting pets from shelters, and we mean: sob. In other Balenciaga-related news, the label recently announced that its upcoming collection is set to land via a new videogame. Keep your eyes peeled for more on that front next week. Head to the I LOVE PETS page to see the full line, play animal-related games, and submit pics of your own four-legged friend here.
