Watch: Gucci’s latest show, EpilogueFashionNewsWatch: Gucci’s latest show, EpilogueAlessandro Michele’s new collection makes its debut as part of Milan Fashion Week’s online scheduleShareLink copied ✔️July 17, 2020FashionNewsText Dazed Digital The first ever digital fashion season is drawing to a close, but you didn’t think Milan’s iteration would pass without an appearance from Alessandro Michele, did you? Landing this morning comes the designer’s latest presentation for Gucci, which this time around takes the form of a short film streaming exclusively here on Dazed. Though details are minimal right now (and we’re as in the dark as you are at this point), what we do know is that the collection is called Epilogue, serves as the follow-up to Michele’s An Unrepeatable Ritual presentation, and puts his design team front and centre once more. Given Michele recently announced he was moving away from the ‘worn out’ fashion show schedule to do his own thing, it also seems that Epilogue could have a double meaning. Defined as a conclusion that sums up a book or play in its final pages, the show looks set to draw a line under what came before, and mark a whole new approach for the brand. Watch the livestream above from 7am (BST) before the brand’s visual narrative feature begins at 1pm (BST).
