Having teased the appearance via her Instagram story earlier today, when she posted a pair of discarded stilettos bearing the label’s logo to the insole, the trio created a unique soundscape to accompany the debut of Riccardo Tisci’s latest collection. When it came to the collection itself, things seem to have been stripped back somewhat for the coming season – with not a sequined bonnet in sight. Modelled by Burberry faves including Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, classic trenches in skewed versions of the house’s iconic check were finished with uber-luxe feather and shearling trims, as worn with sequined sheath dresses and slim tailored suits. Elsewhere, casual, sporty pieces in the form of polo dresses and rugby tops were rendered in a Gryffindor-esque shades of maroon and gold, with looks finished with sporty backpacks, duffles, and technical anoraks. Ten points to Burberry, we guess. Escape the algorithm! Get The DropEmail address SIGN UP Get must-see stories direct to your inbox every weekday. Privacy policy Thank you.
