With the menswear and Couture shows wrapping up in at the end of January, and the womenswear shows kicking off this Friday (February 7) in New York, we’re using this tiny window between the two to a) breathe and b) take a minute to look back at SS20 and the fashion campaigns that have been landing in our inboxes at an alarming rate. From Naomi Campbell fronting her first-ever Vivienne Westwood campaign 33-years after she famously tripped over on the iconic designer's runway back in 1993 to Marc Jacobs and Charlotte Rampling coming together for Givenchy, we also see Kaia Gerber shot for Loewe and Zoë Kravitz captured on a beach for Saint Laurent. Elsewhere, Tyler Mitchell returns to lens a celebration of black culture for JW Anderson, Willy Vanderperre shoots Ludovic de Saint Sernin and Raf Simons, while The Lobster director Yorgos Lanthimos joins forces with Gucci for a second time, stepping behind the camera to capture its “Of Course A Horse” campaign. Also including a celebration of the Chinese New Year for Moschino and a political statement for Balenciaga, check out the full gallery above.
