It’s a time when he can “stop, reflect, and reconnect,” the designer said in reference to the newest Burberry campaign which dropped this morning. Titled What is Love? the campaign celebrates the notion of togetherness, union, and, of course, love. Cast by Tisci himself, the shoot features boychild, Dazed cover stars Fran Summers and Sasha Pivovarova, Dazed China cover star Yoo Ah-in, and Dazed 100-er Ikram Abdi Omar. Shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, the campaign sees the cast dancing to the soundtrack of What Is Love? by Deee-Lite, while a Santa, an angel, and a satyr-styled model roam the set. As Tisci’s first Christmas campaign for the British luxury brand, the Italian designer said he was connected to “the idea of unity, togetherness, and challenging the perception of what love is today,” he explained. “I loved the idea of bringing together a group of people that have been so supportive of me since I joined Burberry to celebrate my first holiday campaign for the house.” Escape the algorithm!
