Via Instagram (@prada)FashionNewsFashion / NewsThe rumours are true: Prada is joining forces with adidasThis is not a drillShareLink copied ✔️November 7, 2019November 7, 2019TextEmma Elizabeth Davidson Over the course of the last few weeks, you might have heard whispers that Prada was joining forces with adidas on a new collaboration, but it wasn’t until approx. 30 minutes ago that we had IRL confirmation that it is actually happening. Announced by the iconic Italian label via its Instagram page this morning, the post featured a white Prada carrier bag inside which two adidas boxes could just be seen. Offering basically no further information, the accompanying caption listed only the brands’ IG handles and the hashag #pradaforadidas. Despite the distinct lack of details, needless to say, we are still deceased that this has now been confirmed. Of course, it’s not the first time adidas has teamed up with a legendary designer on a collaborative collection. Both Rick Owens and Raf Simons have lent their aesthetic to the German sportswear behemoth, with Simons’ reimagination of the archival adidas Ozweego basically kickstarting the craze for the ugly sneakers we know and love today back in 2013. Check out the post below and keep your eyes on Dazed for more information about the upcoming collab, and revisit the Prada womenswear collection in the gallery below.
