Fashion Week might now feel like a distant memory, but, as usual, the fashion wheel continues to spin – with the announcement of this year’s British Fashion Awards nominees landing this morning.

On the line-up for 2019 are the likes of Alessandro Michele for Gucci, Kim Jones for Dior Men, and Jonathan Anderson for Loewe (duh!), as well as Daniel Lee for Bottega Veneta, Simon Porte Jacquemus, and Martine Rose. 

Elsewhere, in the running for the emerging menswear designer award, is Aries creative director and co-founder Sofia Prantera, who has been making waves on the skate and streetwear scene for over ten years. Most recently, the label launched a new collaboration with New Balance.  

When it comes to the model of the year category, there are also a few familiar faces. Dazed cover star Adut Akech is up for an award, alongside the likes of Dazed 100 alumni Adesuwa Aighewi, Adwoa Aboah, and Kaia Gerber, for the model of the year award.  

Chosen by votes from over 2,500 industry members, last years winners include Simone Rocha, Craig Green, and Demna Gvasalia, with the 2019 awards ceremony set to take place on December 2 at the Royal Albert Hall.
