You know – that sort of thing. The intimate snapshots seen across the collection were lensed by equally legendary photographer Anton Corbijn, who also captured a group of young skaters for the accompanying campaign. According to Hawk, he knew he wanted to get the photographer involved given they share a whole lot of interests: “When the opportunity arose to work with Anton – someone who shares a mutual passion for music and raw, unfiltered art – I knew instinctively that the creative direction would be extraordinary.” In celebration of the collection’s launch, the skater is also set to host a community party in East London, where his fans will be able to get up close and personal with him. Taking place at Browns East this Friday (July 19) from 5pm-8pm – head there for drinks and food, as well as the opportunity to get him to sign your decks. Escape the algorithm!
