Downtown New York's design duo HOOD BY AIR continues their narrative of dark futurism with their upcoming S/S 2010 collection, which will debut at New York fashion week on September 14. On the heels of their "Banjee" collaboration with Hercules + Love Affair and their recent "Hood By Air Classics" interpretation of early '90s sportswear, designers Shayne Oliver and Raul Lopez are taking a slashed apart and decidedly vampiric approach to their men's silhouette. Gallery, in which RED models Dean & Jamil genuflect in oversized fringe, slashed jackets, crucifix hardware from FAUX/REAL, and tanks bearing an apocalyptic admonition: "TURN to Jesus or BURN in Hell."
