With Abloh showing his latest collection in Paris today, joining that growing list this season was footballer Hector Bellerin, who made his debut as an LV model for SS20. The Arsenal right back made his way around the catwalk wearing a fuchsia monogrammed hoodie with matching shorts and a LV sports bag (ideal for his kit, obvs), alongside fellow new face, K-pop star Song Minho. While it might seem like a surprising choice, over the course of the last couple of years Bellerin has become known as a bit of a fashion icon of the football world. Rejecting the usual uber-flashy uniform of the off-duty player, he’s regularly seen front row at LFWM wearing fresh-off-the-runway Prada, Off-White, Balenciaga, and Burberry. Will he be switching the pitch for Paris on a more regular basis now? Watch this space.
