Well, wrong. Ahead of the SS20 (yes, you read that correctly) menswear shows, Givenchy has announced it will be presenting in Florence, rather than Paris. Announced as the guest designer at the next Pitti Uomo, Clare Waight Keller will debut her first standalone menswear show on June 12, after showing an intimate presentation, and lookbook styled by Dazed’s fashion and creative director Robbie Spencer, for AW19. “January was almost like the first chapter in the book,” Waight Keller told WWD. “Pitti is the opportunity to take that step into a much broader collection, and that’s a big opportunity for me to really express what I want to do, and also just my more rounded vision of what I want for the Givenchy man.” Stay tuned for more news.
