FashionShowMarie Saint Pierre A/W 08A report from Montreal Fashion Week.ShareLink copied ✔️April 8, 2008FashionShowTextCheryl Ramage Marie Saint Pierre is the reigning queen of Quebec fashion. Considered an avant-garde visionary, she is the most established designer of her generation. Always edgy and never basic, her designs were characterized by cascading ruffles, fluid and asymmetrical lines, chiffon, ruched fabrics, jersey and splashes of bold colours (bright red and crisp white) on a monotone palate, all of which combined for an unexpectedly feminine result. The show was divided into three parts by an ethereal voice that made declarations such as "I am timeless by need", "I am versatile by choice" and "I am curious by nature."
