Along with mainstays like Natalie Westling, Sora Choi, and Selena Forrest there were a bunch of new faces as equally captivating, instead with a more androgynous beauty. For Canadian-born model Krow, it was his first show since transitioning to a male. “Giving this opportunity to a community that isn’t very represented in the public eye is incredible and shows just how far the world has come,” he told us at the time. Now, the model is the star of a documentary – entitled Krow’s TRANSformation – telling the story of his transition to male. The newly released trailer for the film – directed by Gina Hole Lazarowich – shows footage filmed over a three year period from Krow’s career as a ‘female’ model in Canada, to making his PFW debut at LV. Elsewhere, we see conversations between him and his mother about the difficulty of coming out to her, and stories from other trans people in Krow’s circle. If you want to see the full documentary, you can help by donating to the Kickstarter fund currently set up by Lazarowich and by following @krowstransformation for updates.
