Elliot’s new venture, H by Harris was conceived when the stylist come designer was in need of a new laptop case. The H by HARRIS collection will feature two ranges – the ‘Q’ collection that is crafted from hand quilted, fine quality nappa leather, and the ‘SH’ range which will be made from a waxy nubuck. Elliot takes his inspiration from vintage militaria, referenced in his chosen palette of olive, navy, red, grey and black, as well as the functionality of his designs. Stylish and elegant, the range features laptop skins, rucksacks, totes, weekend bags and the special ‘H’ jacket. The ‘H’ jacket is a hooded jacket with detachable rucksack zipped onto the back, and is the first capsule in the H by HARRIS’s brands exploration of ideas. Indeed, each season will see each new range containing a piece of clothing inspired by the mood of the collection as a whole. The ‘H’ jacket sees Elliot playing with proportion as two sizes of quilt are used in the garment. The H by HARRIS range will be in store at The Dover Street Market and Browns from August. b STORE will also unveil pieces from the 'BHARRIS' range, a collaborative effort between b STORE and Elliot for the retailer’s ‘Hard Times’ show at London Fashion Week.
