Parajumpers’ new collection is all about reworking the classics

The AW18 collection is shot against beautiful landscapes and skies by photography duo Scandebergs

Parajumpers is bringing the cosiness just in time for the colder months. As the temperature drops, so will the Italian outerwear label’s AW18 collection, with a selection of new and traditional pieces from down-filled jackets to fine wool parkas.

In exclusive images from the London photography duo Scandebergs – Stefano Colombini and Alberto Albanese – the new collection is shot against classic autumnal skies and winter landscapes that somehow feel both natural and not real. After all, this is what the collection is made for – surviving nature’s harsher turns while also looking good.

The new capsule collection features seven jackets ranging from the Gobi bomber – a classic Parajumpers piece reworked in nylon – to the Masterlight that features tech innovation to keep you toasty while remaining feather-light.

There’s also the Kegen Packable, this season’s addition from longtime guest designer Yoshinori Ono, which epitomises Parajumpers’ efforts to combine style with practicality. Without sacrificing its down filling, the jacket can be packed up into a small bag for travelling and keeping warm on the move. And Hungarian designer Agnes Kemeny is making a return for the AW18 offering, contrasting “polar white” outer layers with a dark lining for the Cotton Remastered collection, which is embellished with silver faux fur.

With such a variety of functional pieces in their AW18 collection, Parajumpers have got you covered no matter what turn the weather takes in the next few months – and let’s be honest, there’s no predicting what the UK weather’s going to do.
