Raimund Berthold has created a capsule menswear collection under his eponymous label, Berthold that will be sold exclusively at b STORE. A Central Saint Martin’s graduate who has worked under the tutelage of British greats including Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen, Berthold’s men’s outerwear collection is strong and directional with an enigmatic twist. Classic and functional, the range has a distinct sense of wit, and some hidden surprises and subtle quirks that one only reveals upon searching through the immaculately crafted exterior to find something deeper that the outlying aesthetic. The revelation is thus: the inventive outerwear transforms from coat to bag and back again, all with a fluid ease that comes from masterful design.

The collection comprises 5 pieces designed to weather the temperamental British elements and provide lightweight comfort as well as impeccable style. A double breasted coat, oversized round neck windcheater, a rain cape and gilet all transform into usable bags, including a duffle, shopper, square bag with back straps and a mesh shoulder bag.
