NYFW is now less than a week away, with labels like Calvin Klein, Vaquera, and Dazed 100er Luar all preparing to present their SS19 collections. On September 9, Opening Ceremony – helmed by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim – will show its latest offerings, this season in collaboration with Sasha Velour.

That’s right, the drag superstar and winner of season nine of RuPaul’s Drag Race will be performing at the show that is titled The Gift of Showz.

Billed as a celebration of fashion, art, and drag, the runway performance also promises to feature other special guests alongside Velour. Here’s to hoping reigning queen Aquaria, and Mother Ru herself sashay down the catwalk. 

Little else has been revealed about the show slash performance, but we’re obviously in for one great big kiki – so watch this space.
