The full trailer for the upcoming Alexander McQueen docYour first look before the film’s release on June 8ShareLink copied ✔️May 2, 2018FashionNewsTextDominic Cadogan After a dramatic teaser snatched our interest two weeks ago, the full trailer for the eagerly anticipated Alexander McQueen biopic has now been released. Directed and produced by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, what we know so far is that the film will document behind-the-scenes look into the visionary that was the designer Lee McQueen. Like the teaser, the full trailer shows some of the designer’s most iconic moments, from the futuristic hologram of Kate Moss at his AW06 show, all the way back to the thrilling AW98 show with a model circled by a ring of flames – there really are too many to mention. “If you leave without emotion, I’m not doing my job properly,” says McQueen himself in one clip. “I want you to feel repulsed or exhilarated.” The trailer also gives a deeper look into the man himself, exploring his working-class background and how that affected his approach to design and need to dismantle the elitist fashion industry. The film won’t be released in cinemas until June 8, so that gives you plenty of time to watch the trailer over, and over in preparation.
