Also featuring a whole host of other exciting talents, the campaign is a celebration of individuality, diversity, and the brand’s heritage. On the line-up is artist Jelani Blackman, singers Paloma Ford and Salma Slims, and models and influencers T-Bone and Rei, who each wear a series of iconic pieces and denim essentials taken directly from the brand's archive. Shot by photographer and filmmaker Christian Oita, each star features in a video that captures their unique personality through fashion and music. In IAMDDB’s short film, the singer is seen dancing in a neon yellow t-shirt and white hooded sailing jacket, while talking about the feeling of vulnerability she expresses through her music, and her confident approach to photo shoots. The collection itself features unisex pieces that offer a twist on the brand’s sailing heritage, with bold colours and modern graphics all present throughout. It also reimagines the Tommy logo as a new nautical-style flag seen across loose-fit denim jackets and hoodies. Back too is the original Tommy Hilfiger ‘Fly’ sneaker, which completes the heavy 90s vibe. The collection will be available from May 9, but you can already make up your wish list online from today for a chance to get your hands on it before anyone else. Watch IAMDDB’s video below.
