FashionNewsRihanna confirms that a Fenty lingerie range is happeningDidn’t they tell you she was a savage?ShareLink copied ✔️April 23, 2018FashionNewsTextKemi Alemoru Rihanna won’t stop until we all wear Fenty Puma, beat our faces with Fenty Beauty, and live on Rihanna Drive in Fenty Houses. She has finally confirmed the rumours that have been swirling around since March are in fact true – she has a lingerie line on the way. After teasing on Twitter with the caption “didn’t they tell you?” the singer-turned-mogul took to Instagram to post a cryptic teaser video with the words “SAVAGE” and “FENTY” interspersed with images of women in baby pink lingerie. Her caption read: “We bout to light this up sis!!🔥 ... introducing @SAVAGEXFENTY lingerie coming soon. sign up now at SAVAGEX.com !!” If you journey to the site, you’ll be invited to enter in your bra size (up to a double D cup), underwear size, and your birthday. Speculation has been building since March when WWD reported that Tech Style – the company formerly known as JustFab – would be teaming up with her to strengthen their brand image. The company were previously behind Kate Hudson's activewear collection, Fabletics, and other subscription shopping sites like ShoeDazzle. Lloyd Greif, president and chief executive officer of Los Angeles investment bank Greif & Co, told WWD that “the Rihanna brand play would be to convince the market that the company (TechStyle) has strong growth.” Rihanna’s recent business moves have proved successful. She has been poised to overtake Kylie Jenner’s cosmetic empire since her Fenty Beauty debut and last year, and she was credited with a boost in Puma sales off the back of her line. If you doubted her financial power, just ask Snapchat how much it can cost you when you lose a Rihanna co-sign. People have praised the incoming collection’s inclusivity of bigger sizes, with underwear going up to 3X – however, the bras will only go up to a DD. The average cup size in the United States is around a 34DD, though that's thought to have increased from the last study on breast size in 2015. However, as you’d expect her stans are ready and waiting for the line, see some of their reactions below: i can’t wait to listen to bitch better have my money in my fenty lingerie whilst looking in my mirror applying stunna lip paint after bathing my body in fenty body glitter— simran ♡ (@Simisear_) April 20, 2018yes i’m broke. yes i’m about to give all my money to rihanna in exchange for fenty lingerie. we exist. pic.twitter.com/HBE6UYrZuk— ginger spice (@diorlatte) April 20, 2018Just signed up for Savage.
