When Fashion Week AW18 rolled into Paris, Yu Fujiwara, was there to capture the chaos in all its glory as the showgoers tried to keep warm (and also look cool) on Paris’s cold wet streets.
Some familiar faces you might recognise from the final lap of the fashion week circuit include Selah Marley, Slick Woods, and a smiling Simon Porte Jacquemus. In a major moment, he also shot a conversation between Rei Kawakubo, Michele Lamy and Adrian Joffe – if only pictures could talk...
Elsewhere, Fujiwara trained his lens on the precious details and moments that evade the notice of other photographers – some eccentric locals, two very different worlds colliding on the stairs descending into the Metro, the portentous pile of empty, abandoned cardboard boxes emblazoned with the word ‘EUROPE’.
