They worked with Twin Peaks’ David Lynch on the set for their AW14 show and, more recently, with The Doom Generation’s Gregg Araki and Tangerine’s Sean Baker who directed short films to run in conjuction with their print campaigns. This season they’ve done it again, enlisting Portandia’s Carrie Brownstein to direct a film, the trailer of which has just been released. Titled The Realest of Real, the film stars Kim Gordon, as well as Disney star and Dazed favourite Rowan Blanchard, and fellow actors Laura Harrier, Mahershala Ali and Natasha Lyonne. According to the brand, the film represents a “humorous exploration of the fickle and instant world of the internet,” though the trailer doesn’t give away much of the plot. The full movie is slated for a September release, though the accompanying campaign, which resembles film posters, is out now. Watch the trailer below and check out the campaign in the gallery above.
