For his Botswanan heavy metal fan-inspired menswear show last season, Riccardo Tisci partially abandoned his usual sculpted clutch of male models, with a “new generation” of men taking to the runway. Tisci presented a plethora of sub-culture references and has since remained on the African continent, conjuring his AW16 womenswear collection from the sphinxes and hieroglyphs of Egypt.
