Yesterday, her latest venture for the house was revealed: a short film entitled Paris in Rome, shot by Chanel’s inimitable creative director, Karl Lagerfeld. In it, she models the house’s Métiers d’Art pre-AW16 collection, which was debuted at a runway show in Rome in December of last year. The collection is predominantly black and white, reflecting Coco Chanel’s love of the colours. “I have said that black has it all. White too,” she once said. “Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.” Like that show, Paris in Rome was shot at the Rome’s iconic film studio Cinecettà, where great Italian films like Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita were made. This isn’t Stewart’s first film for the house though – last year she played Coco Chanel and an actor playing Coco Chanel in a short film entitled Once and Forever. “(Kristen is) so good,” Lagerfeld said in an interview with WWD. “I think she’s one of the greatest actors of her generation.
