This week alone, the 19-year-old has been announced as the new face of Dior beauty and walked in the house’s Cruise 2017 show at Blenheim Palace. Now, she’s landed a Givenchy campaign. Unveiled on the house’s artistic director Riccardo Tisci’s Instagram yesterday, the campaign is shot by acclaimed photographic duo Mert and Marcus. Hadid stars alongside the designer’s long-term muse Mariacarla Boscono, fashion industry heavyweights Irina Shayk and Lily Aldridge, and new faces Yasmin Wijnaldum and Alice Metza – a group Tisci describes as his “#GangofMuses”. Aside from this campaign and her one for Dior beauty (which is yet to be revealed), Hadid has starred in several major fashion campaigns for brands including Balmain, Marc Jacobs and Versace. The collection she models here debuted at Paris Fashion Week in March and took inspiration from Ancient Egypt. But as well as the mandalas, Egyptian iconography, leopard spots and python skin, the collection also contained explorations of military tailoring – which you can see in this campaign.
