Among the model line-up was SS16 campaign star Pyper America Smith, as well as the likes of Ajak Deng and Australian model and Dazed cover star Julia Nobis, who opened the show. After being driven into the showspace on the back of neon-lit trucks, the diverse model cast jumped into action outfitted in a collection laden with Marvel references; from Catwoman’s leather jumpsuit to metallic breastplates and even a signature Avengers jacquard, Plein closed out Milan Fashion Week in style by rendering his model muses superhuman.
